David Mayhew specializes in Shoreline and Country weekend homes and primary residences in Branford, Guilford, Madison, Clinton and other nearby towns along the Connecticut Shoreline as well as Connecticut River towns from Old Saybrook to East Haddam.

As the owner of the internet domain ConnecticutWeekendHomes.com, he has been successfully utilizing all forms of today’s technology to market the Shoreline to New Yorkers and others interested in weekend retreats as well as to buyers from all areas seeking year-round residences.

David has lived and/or worked in the Greater New Haven and Connecticut Midshore areas for 25 years.

Prior to joining Pearce, David spent 30 years in marketing and public relations, primarily for performing and visual arts organizations, including publicizing Broadway plays and musicals, dance companies and museums. 

For more than two decades he was part of a small team organizing the biennial Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival, the largest poetry event in North America. The Festival, held in even-number years, attracted the world’s finest contemporary poets and audiences of over 15,000 for four days of poetry in Newark, NJ every other October.
